Yay! I'm home!!! 3 hour delay yesterday at LaGuardia--flights before and after me were cancelled. Man, was I frustrated, but at least I got home. One of my friends at work was stuck overnight from going to the west coast. That really sucked.

As a surprise, Carolyn got me a massage!!! I love massages and jesus, i need one--my neck and shoulders are killing me.

oh, and to top it all off, my new Richard Dawkins book, The God Delusion should be here today.

goddammed right, it's a beautiful day!

I decided to take a personal vacation to Scotland earlier this month. On my last leg of the flights home, O'Hare had a bad thunderstorm and we were told that we had to spend an hour in a holding pattern to wait out the storm. Then it took another 30 minutes before it was our turn to land.

I understand ALL your pain. I was about ready to kill someone in that last 30 minutes. Nothing like being stuck in an metal tube for 14 hours to get on your nerves.
