Journal blinder's Journal: Gluten Free Vegan Worcestershire Sauce 10
so, before i forget, and since i got it out (making the dragon a "sunshine burger" [basically a rice-based veggie burger] and a boca for myself)... here's the gluten free *and* _vegan_ worcestershire sauce:
the wizard's
distributed by edwards and sons. we found it at the river st. whole foods in cambridge.
let me tell you, its wonderful. its lighter than i remember the stuff that has dead fish in it. but, its got a really nice flavor... perfect.
the dragon sure liked it... she devoured her sunshine burger (which, if you happen to be a celiac vegetarian, are a great find, completely gluten free and vegan).
so much yumminess for the dinners.
Veggie burger (Score:2)
When I was in San Francisco last November I tried a veggie burger (nevermind the fact that I thought I was eating a sausage patty). I liked it - I was stunned when I found out what it was, and it was a lot better than I ever imagined it would be.

I've been told by some of my vegitarian friends that it is the worst synthetic burger out there and I should give another brand a try. Personally, I just like beef too much.

2. don't pretend it's a burger. It's something else. There are some good brands out there, i thought boca was pretty good. but it's not a hamburger, so if you go into it with the mentality that it's a NEW food, not a substitute food, it's much better.
same thing with things like veggie sausage, adopt the mindset that it's, HEY! They made one more kind of thing into sausages, i guess i will
