If Disney actually does what the linked article suggest, that is what I will be doing. i.e. A $6.99 a month subscription allows me to watch same day as theater release movies as many times as I like. That's cheaper than ONE movie ticket and my whole family/friends/etc. can watch for the same price. BTW, that doesn't mean that I will sign up for a year's subscription at around $84 a year. I'll just sign up in the months that there is a Disney movie that I want to see. Even if they require whole year subscriptions, my family of four only needs to watch two or maybe three Disney movies a year at that price for it to be cheaper than going to a theatre. And don't get me started on popcorn/soda savings. Unless, you are a horny teenager who wants to go on a date to the movies, I don't see much of a reason to ever go to the theatre to see a Disney movie again.
