1. Make a police report. 2. Keep an eye on ebay, craig's list and the sort. 3. Keep an eye in the local classifieds and trader's guide. 4. Take a copy of the owner's guide, serial number and the police report to the local pawn shops.
A scooter isn't something so common that people won't notice it and it's not like a TV where the thief can just use it without anyone in the public seeing it.
