There were several reasons to rename monkeypox, it wasn't some conspiracy to confuse people or "hide the truth." Quite the opposite. The name has resulted in people scared of contracting it killing monkeys, even though the disease seems to originate in squirrels. However, I will concede that "mpox" was not a particularly inspired rebranding.

You cannot even do that, at least for some vehicles. You need to pass SMOG checks to register, and some vehicles sold in other states are built to a lower standard, meaning they will not pass.

That's a lot of words to say you think people should hold and enforce petty grudges for an unreasonably long time. Either way, MSG is not a private company, and the CEO probably ought not be arbitrarily cutting off revenue and garnering bad press based solely on the flimsiness of his ego.

Belem over the medium term, which is a mitigating factor. What kind of city of over two million people, doesn't have a highway leading to it? The kind that gets all its visitors in by plane, that's what kind.

The 19th century called, and would like to introduce you to these things called boats and trains. Also, the city has highways.
