First off, I am against Musk's politics. I think he's overly judgmental, biased, and way too quick to lose empathy. I believe in making things like universal healthcare happen as a priority, whereas he doesn't. And in fact have been stating that. Slashdot wont let me search through comment my comment history .. but here's a few proofs:

That said, I do like Musk's companies .. and I've been vocal about that. I do share certain beliefs of Musk's in the realm of technology, enterprise, and life being multi-planetary.

Btw, as I think about it .. I haven't seen Musk be racist against Indians. He has three kids with a woman that is 50% Indian. The lead of full self driving, (who also was the first AI specialist he hired into Tesla), is Indian. He's strongly advocated retaining H1B.

Uh, I am not the racist. You are. You've been strongly against H1B and immigration -- that's fueled by racism. The Indian cultural problem of normalizing low hygiene is a very real problem with consequences. I posted it to hope it gets corrected. Not all Indians are accepting of it, but many are because they grew up with it as it slowly got introduced. India in the past used to be very clean, they had more advanced sanitation than most of the world. After high population growth and low finances 1. the waters started getting polluted 2. people urbanized in places not accessible to high water supply 3. frequent hand washing reduced as people started working 4. there was low regulation of street vendors 5. various vermin and flies started being present in household 5. slowly people started to accept strangers handling their food in unsanitary conditions.

Here are a couple of references about encapsulated beta cells tech that I mentioned:

A readable article that describes the technology in detail: https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fadvanced.onlinelibrary...

Here's a couple articles about a couple of the companies (there are about 7, outside of academia) working on development and testing (which takes about a year or two per iteration to watch for failure etc.) of encapsulated beta cell technology:

Major company: https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpharmaphorum.com%2Fnews%2F...

Encapsulated beta cells. No immunosuppressants needed. Immunosuppressants for life may be worse than diabetes because there are already good "artificial pancreas" systems (continuous glucose monitoring with a Dexcom G7 + a Tandem Insulin pump). The full solution though will be encapsulated beta cells.
