I forgot to add, but this is one reason why traditional cameras (real cameras whose only purpose is to take photos) have made a little bit of a comeback the last few years. People are buying used discontinued cameras that let them take unprocessed photos.

Modern smartphones do too much overprocessing of photos, which can result in excessive sharpening and just unnatural looking photos. Search for "overprocessed photos" on the internet and you will find tons of complaints about it. Apparently the last iPhone without too much overprocessing was the iPhone 11. Apparently Samsung phones do it too. I don't know if they are appealing to Instagrammers or what, but a lot of us don't like the overprocessed photos.
