In China they are building new airports. In the US we are telling air traffic controllers to wear masks, hampering communications with pilots.
>infrastructure spending by the government is an unsustainable way to prop up an economy.
In China they build everything. In the US we build almost nothing.
>No, in China, they build cheap shit, in the US innovation occurs. Nothing? From aircraft to the machines that make the microchips. That's USA! USA! China can't make either. (FYI - Taiwan's chip sector is built on machines from the US, Germany and The Netherlands. Semi-fabs require very light regulation as they're so dirty and dangerous to the people working in them. Even in TW, the low-level staff at TSMC and UMC are from the Philippines and Indonesia. Too many cancerous chemicals in those air-tight fabs)
In China their schools focus on math and science. In the US our schools focus on critical race theory, tearing down statues of formerly revered Americans, and leftist indoctrination. Math and science are way down the list, as evidenced by our declining proficiency compared to other developing countries.
>In the US, schools make critical thinkers. China makes drones that can pass tests.
In China they appear to have little in the way of racial tension. Here in the US we engage in seeminly endless race wars. Past sins cannot, and more importantly will not, be forgiven by those that have a vested interest in having the race wars continue.
>That's becuase there are so few non-Han Chinese in China. Ask any Chinese Muslim about racial tension in China.
In China they lend money to other countries (like the US). In the US we are broke. Our governments (Republican and Democrat alike) continue to piss away trillions of dollars that we don't have and pay for it by increasing the money supply. The interest rates are so low that the Chinese won't buy our bonds anymore so the Federal Reserve, in violation of their own charter, are buying corporate bonds to prop up the stock market.
>you don't understand finance, I don't have hours to explain this to you.
What all of this means is that the US is in an obvious and probably irreversible decline.
>Nope. Never bet against the US.
Really, the 50c army is now on /. ?
