What Meta needs to do is ask it's AIs how to fabricate past evidence that they had a "leeching only" policy, lol.
Microsoft tries its best to force you to use Edge to open a pdf. If I have Adobe Reader set as my default pdf reader, that should be the end of it. Nope. Certain updates have reverted to using Edge so I, and others at my place of work, have to go in and reset the default.
Once someone has something set as their default, it should never be tampered with unless it's done by the user.
I can't wait to see the comments on this. The few are already posted are providing good entertainment.
Congratulations. You'e exactly why I don't hire men if I can avoid it. Nothing but whiners.
Interesting how the entire summary leaves out what country this company is from. Are we now protecting these genocidal criminals?
The country is Israel.
You mean the people on site are incapable of noticing there's a problem?
Not sure that's how you want to be framing this.
Pro-Kremlin bloggers are warning that Russia's centralized digital economy could collapse
While out working around the yard, this exact thought came to me. When you have a centralized economy, such as in Russia with Putin calling all the shots, any large scale interruption to any part of that centralization will have an outside effect. As this article relates, Yandex has its paws in everything. And what happens when Yandex goes down?
This entire invasion has been a fiasco on the Russian side from day one. I was truly astounded at how inept they were in the first month of their invasion, and that astounding has only increased over the past four years. A German officer wrote a book and toward the back of the book he outlined several things the Germans learned very quickly about Russian military doctrine. One of those items was that they would repeatedly throw men at the problem unitl either they succeeded or they exhausted their pool of men.
That was 80+ years ago and they still haven't changed. They learned nothing over the decades and this data center pummeling is another example of them not being able to think more than a day ahead.
For as much as I enjoyed both movies, having another one set 50 years after the last is going down the Star Wars path. Just because you think you can continue the story doesn't mean you should.
It's done, it's over. Let it be.
All they had to do was use black spray paint over the lens. Come up from behind the camera so no face can be seen and have plausible deniability.
Windows? Even DOS had a RAM doubler. lol.
Why would I buy compressed RAM when I can just download a RAM doubler? lol.... Welcome time travelers to the 1990s?
This is Texas. The last thing they want is to have the public nosing around and holding government accountable.
Is this going to bring about some performance optimization, or is it just someone saying, "hey, my teacher/boss/whatever told me that Rust is cool, and I drank the koolaid!"
If I slap a GPS tracker on every police vehicle, is that legal? If it's not, why is it legal in reverse? Do as I say, not as I do? lol...
If it's worth hacking on well, it's worth hacking on for money.
