This [slashdot.org] is definitely not flamebait. If you can't be a little sarcastic - jeez! The Slashdot penalty system does not take into account that modders are random morons, and that people with high karma are banned from modding without notification or explanation.
Fix it BEFORE it's broke, I always say. Too late.
