I should have seen that 2010 article (probably did) and looked into this interesting new technology. But, like most of you, I shrugged my shoulders and thought people putting money into it were crazy.
After several boom and (almost) bust cycles I finally realized there was something important going on, did my research and bought some.
Long story short: My retirement is going to be several times more comfortable than I expected and most of the Slashdotters that are left behind are salty as hell that they missed the start of a revolution.

If the fraud just uses crypto to transfer the money it's not "Crypto Fraud".

When our son's school switched to tablet based learning 10 years ago we immediately moved him to another school.
Other parents thought we were crazy. I figured it was an insane experiment with an unknown outcome that would affect my children (I also had a pre-schooler) during a critical phase of their education.
Safe to say, I'm glad we decided to switch back to a more conservative school.

I agree that the pandemic is the first place to look. But it seems obvious that the virus is a much more likely culprit than the vaccine. Research shows a large difference in risk.
People motivated by distrust in science and government are eager to point the finger at vaccines.
I'm not one of them.

I had one running as a proxmox server for a few years. Worked great. Then I added another one offsite (at a friend's) as a Proxmox backupserver.
Recently I got two more as a mediapc and a standard win11 workstations.
That's 4 in total!
