Yeah, maybe instead of elections there should just be a series of coin-tosses.

Also from the summary,
a new communications-based system, which employs Wi-Fi and cell signals to precisely track the locations of trains, will be installed by Hitachi, which will provide support services for 20 years under the agreement.
I am assuming that 20 years of support is included in the price tag.
the people who live there, who incidentally are fucking amazing people.
Did you use that f-word as a verb or as a noun? It changes the meaning of that clause drastically.
Does it really matter?
Not really, I was going for "funny"
I think you are in denial of how bad it is now if you think it can get worse. Basically everything on the internet is propaganda.
1. Why do you want me to believe this?
2. Is this factually accurate?
3. Is this true?
4. Are you a deepfake ai internet user?
It's like a choice between Kang and Kodos.
So you're saying, it's not fair?
The word "no" might be the same, but the translator had to say it with a Puerto-Rican accent.
Here's an obvious parody response to Newsom's law,

Nobody is forcing you to use it.
Actually they are. When I look at the night sky...
1. Who is forcing you to look at the night sky?
2. How is "seeing" it the same as "using" it?
I do get your point though (you're still affected by it, even though you don't use the service), I just don't get the "actually they are" [forcing you to use it] statement.
One party has no standards.
To make up for it, the other party has double standards.
I have no idea why the employee was hired. Luckyo simply said to hire people that actually do needed things, rather than for DEI... That is, hire should be for work, not on the basis of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Hiring practices ought to be "color-blind" - which is NOT what racist DEI is. DEI ought to DIE. It is hiring people specifically based on their race (or other diverse traits). Hire the best person for the job, whoever it is. But again, I have no idea whether that played into this particular case or not.
I remember reading a few months ago that someone had changed his name to "Literally Anybody Else" and was going to run for the office of president of the United States in 2024. If his name makes it on the ballot, I'd like to think that he stands a fairly good chance of winning
I am not familiar with that monetary unit. How does it compare to USD?
