Great example! Orwell got censored! It's almost funny. Orwell's books which are about dystopian society, mass control and censorship, got censored. One would almost think it's Onion news, but it's real. And that in 2009! We absolutely have to pay attention to such nefarious attempts of censorship of art and history, and restricting freedom of expression in the name of... what exactly? Is it the "protect the children" again?

This is what I'm wondering as well. IMAP isn't an option, just POP3.

If I want to use my Gmail account as an 'email client', my only option to connect to an external email address is via POP3, at least in Canada.

Is this the case elsewhere? I don't see IMAP as an option with the 'Check email from another account' option in the settings. Their 'Learn More' button says:

====

Add another email account on your computer
In a web browser, at mail.google.com, you can add:

Another Gmail account.
A non-Gmail account like Yahoo or iCloud Mail.
You can add up to five email addresses to your Gmail account.

In the Gmail app, you can also add another email account.

However, you can't add accounts like Exchange and Post Office Protocol (POP). Learn how to add an account in the Gmail app.

I was just looking at the USB flash drives... 128GB for $10. USB-A or USB-C or even combo drives. Easy to carry around on your keychain. So what is the use of this cloud service again? I don't get it. Don't say "it's convenient" because if something is convenient it's a 128GB drive on your keychain that you simply insert in your computer or phone.

That's interesting because in my social circle fewer and fewer people are on it, or using it.

I'm kinda stuck with it for work and org-related stuff, and get the feeling lots others are the same.

And in that line of thought, I run several accounts...but it's just me. But I guess that's more in their count.

Beyond the bots, there's probably quite a smaller number of actual humans looking at IG.

Err I think that's more coincidence than anything. I am highly doubtful that's the actual causation.

According tho this, if a woman found herself in a famine state at 9 months, then she wouldn't give birth until more food was eaten? That's not how it works.

If you eat more butter than you can absorb, you'll still absorb a LOT of it, as much as your body can, which will be more than you need.

Sure, you can eat so much that you eventually shit it out. But most people don't eat THAT much. They still eat way more than they have any need to.

You seem to dwell on total fringe scenarios that have little bearing on what 99% of the population is actually experiencing. Stop bothering me with that shit.

Next you're going to tell me water is dangerous because you can also drink too much of it.

Just to point something out. I don't think they are not smart for writing such misleading reports, they just need to put food on the table. What I mean is - the politics forces them to lie for money. It happens far more often than you think, especially in time of economical struggles and crisis. They could grow a pair, though, lose the (additional?) income (bribe?) and be truthful to themselves for once. Doing that certainly has its own merits.
