This is why I have a Steam Deck. I literally can carry it very easily and plug it into my 55" OLED HDR TV. Connect N Bluetooth controllers and off you go.

That's not really a ball ache anymore thanks to the excellent Let's Encrypt service.

As someone who had a successful melanoma removal over 20 years ago and had it come back a few years ago, I can assure that not all skin cancer is on the outside. Mine has spread quite well internally and hope I live enough to try any miracle cure such as this.

And it's only growing. Linux for gaming is right here, right now. So doubles as a cheap pc, just dock a keyboard, mouse and monitor.

Valve have shipped a *lot* of them. Heck, mine should arrive this week to replace the aging laptop the kids use for gaming. When docked you can easily use a keyboard, mouse and monitor and voila a low power desktop.

I don't see Rocket League or many other free titles of that quality making it to Stadia because they or their publisher don't want to work with Google. Rocket League for example is published by Epic and likely want to bypass the Stadia store.

This is why Google's Stadia is the best game streaming there is. I can't notice any input lag playing at all using the Stadia controller.

The old way works just fine.

1) the playground is what kids make it, internet or no.
2) No sir, as a Beaver Leader (6-8 year old scouts) I discipline other kids just fine. Smacking no, but discipline can be verbal and demonstrative too.

We don't need to make the online playground more safe.
What we need to do is teach the children how to play safely - like say looking both ways before crossing the street.

Can't run screen hacks when the game video and audio is streamed to your device.

At best you could hack the input, but I don't see how that would work.

We dont have zonal heating in our old houses much and a retro fit would be too pricey.
Google don't even sell remote sensors in the UK for use with a non smart TRV.

So it's unless you really want a sexy self learning thermostat that just turns the whole house on or off then it's for you.

But if you want smart zonal heating, go Hive for their smart TRVs and lightwave to control the lighting as that suits how UK houses are wired.

Why does a VPN need a DHCP client built in? All a VPN needs is to expose the interface and your DHCP client of choice can then configure addresses, routes, etc.

Maybe your experience is different from mine. I love using my smartphone to browse what to watch. One can watch like say a child whilst you browse for something to watch later without interrupting their program.

Of course this does depend on the app and here is where Netflix really shines. Prime recently opened up on Chromecast as well but isn't quite so nice to use, but it's still better than their PS4 interface or TV stick.
