I can't believe how long it's been since I've been on here. I can finally sit up without it hurting...and my arm isn't in a sling any more (I forgot to add my broken collarbone when I wrote in last time) so it's a lot easier to type!smile! Basically I am healing up nicely and just trying to deal :)

My FM is really bad though (Boy can I relate to Solemndragon's post about a typical flare-up...although mine aren't quite as bad. The accident really made it angry and it's much more volatile right now. Also, my spine was thrown WAY out and doesn't want to stay in. My chiro wants to give me a good CRACK but can't due to my ribs that are still sore and delicate. So he's just been using the activator and it's not doing the trick.

My wonderful, beautiful friends came over one morning and spread all my mulch for me so it wouldn't rot (it was a preordered shipment hat I forgot about until it was sitting in a HUGE (we're talking like 500 lbs of the stuff) pile in my back yard). I sat in my lawn chair sipping my lemonade and directed them very imperiously :) Seriously, they were very good sports and help me immensely. They even picked me up chair and all and moved me into the shade when I fell asleep during them working (well how exciting is it watching people spread mulch? I think it's rated like 2 points higher than watching paint dry on the excito-meter!)

A lot of my friends were asking me if I was going to sue the guy that hit me. I mean it's not like he was driving along responsibly and just glanced down for a second...he was talking on the phone, eating, AND driving. It was blatant irresponsibility and it's caused me a LOT of time off work and quite a bit of pain. BUT I haven't decided yet. Suing someone isn't really me and I don't know if I can feel right about it; no matter how wrong he was.

So...that's what's been going on lately. I will probably be on here much more now that I feel better. I have so much to catch up on with you guys too!! :)

  • If you do sue the bastard, you might force him to drop his cell service or even sell his car. Think what a service this would be to society. ;-)
  • I'm not normally one for suing people either, mainly because the system has been abused. Look at the people that sued the fast food resteraunts because they "made them" fat just by asking them to supersize their greasy fast food meal. However, when there are those true cases where someone was being truely neglegent, and cause another a great damage to their life, then that is why the law suit was started. If someone through 'being stupid (or malicious)' causes your life to be damaged, especially if there
    • I just don't know if I can be the one to hold him responsible though. I mean, I know he NEDS to be held responsible..I'm just trying to reconcile that with my "peace loving" side. I HATE confrontation.
