They did pull off a first if they managed to establish an egg shaped orbit. Virtually every other orbit that isn't affected by a third body is elliptical.

Yes, popups have become ubiquitous once again. Instead of a new browser window we now get Javascript html windows. For a while I sent nasty emails congratulating sites for taking us back to stone age irritations, but I don't bother any more.

I haven't used it in ages. When I come to a site like the BBC that says something like "Your technology is out of date." If I feel charitable I write them and tell them to get their shit together. Regardless of whether I write them or not, I close the site.
