Today's Rant:
Right wing wackos can be a pretty funny bunch. All during the Clinton administration they railed on "big government" and "state's rights". And now that we have Bushbaby striking down state's rights with the anti-spam law, for eaxmple, where are those LOUD voices? (In case you weren't aware the new CAN-SPAM act stomps over California's stronger anti-spam law passed last year.) It seems like if one of their boys does the same exact things that the opposition did, it's OK. Hypocrites. This admin has jackbooted thugs as much as any other admin. Only they've been sent over to Iraq and will probably be distributed to various polling centers across the country in November for "security" measures. I'm not the most patriotic American and I never have been (I used to tune out during the Pledge of Allegiance in High School and laugh during presindential speeches), but hate to say it, I hate what America has become under this new "leadership". And it's a shame, because there are some really good people here in the US who's voices are being drowned out by a vocal minority.
All during the Clinton administration the right wingers were all worried about the president's penis. As if it really mattered. Clinton should have just said, "Yeah I had sex with that woman. Now let's get back to what really matters and leave my personal life out of it. I'm your president, not your lover". Let me put it to you this way you stinking neocons. If a CEO of a big company had sex with an intern at the company and denied it, and it got out, would there be as big of a scandal? Would the employees be in an uproar at every level saying, "They need to can this guy!! He lied to us about his sex life! How can we trust him?!!" If you say yes, then you are more naive than I give you credit for. And believe me I give you guys a LOT of credit for being naive.
Now with the current Resident in Theif, we have SEVERAL questionable issues surrounding...
1. Were there ever WMDs in Iraq and why they didn't get planted there fast enough to make the Bush administration look like they were correct?
2. Did the current administration have prior knowledge about the possibility of an attack on 9-11-2001? And if they did, why the hell didn't they make sure ALL republicans were out of the twin towers that day instead of the large number of people who appeared to know to call into work that day.
3. Was the war in Iraq really not about oil... oh foget it, I won't cover up on this one. Was the war in Iraq really about Haliburton?
4. Why was the only state in the union who had trouble with the vote count in 2000 the same state run by his brother. More to the point, WHY on earth didn't they cover their tracks better!?
You see, I was old enough to go to the "Gulf War". Prime age actually. I hated George Bush Sr. because he IS an evil man. And he actually has a brain. He had a style and finesse with his evildoing that Butterball GW and his cronies lack. What ever happened to the classic evildoer? Originally I though that George Bush Sr. was pulling the strings on the administration. But with so many cockups, I doubt that now. This administration is so obviously power hungry that they have completely overlooked style when it comes to such criminal behavior. Way to go USA.
