Real guitar CAN be profitable in other ways, you know. A prime example would be a guitar teacher--if you're good enough, you can charge $100+ per lesson. I wasn't really speaking in terms of bands as big as RHCP, etc.

Real guitar IS a smash at parties--when done properly. That's actually a pretty decent reason to play guitar, believe it or not. And arguably, real guitar is much more fun. For the record...there are people who play guitar hero just as religiously as many play real guitar. Why not choose the one that's actually..y'know...profitable, portable, real, entertaining to those that are watching?

Assuming that this goes through, what will they do next? Teach that tectonic plates don't really exist, and all continents have always been exactly as they are? Or, more specifically, teach that all scientific theories are flawed, and have no basis, or place in the school curriculum? After they finish all that, they can tell us that all conclusions we make are false, because proof is provided. Damn.

Well, I officially can't stand vista, so I was thinking of switching to Ubuntu. Before I do that, I want to make sure there's nothing preventing Ubuntu from working on my Laptop. I've got a HP Pavilion DV2000 (dv2416us to be more specific) with 2gb of RAM, Nvidia GeForce Go 6150, AMD Turion64 x2, some 100GB of hard drive space. I honestly know very little about Ubuntu, so any information would be appreciated. As for the reason, I'm pretty sure it uses less RAM than Vista, at any rate, so I'm pre

They found two planets that were close matches for Jupiter and Saturn orbiting a star about half the size of our Sun.
