Samsung always has the best review. My wife loves hers. I'm just sick of all of the bloat. I'm thinking about getting a Motorola Moto G Power, which is super cheap. I've also thought about getting a Google Pixel 5.

I'm hoping for a more vanilla Android experience. What do you think?

  • My work phones are always Samsung, and they fatigue me with all the "predictive" bloat that actually slows me down. Good as they are, they are irritating.

    I've had some OnePlus models that were real good, but they are getting quite expensive.

    Now I have an unlocked TCL 10Pro. Underwhelming on performance, yet adequate, and the interface is clean. Battery saver is too aggressive and makes notifications late, but it sure was cheap. TCL has a newer 5G (20Pro?) model out now that I'm curious about.

    • Thanks for your input. I'm on a CDMA carrier, and that really limits my choices. The leading GSM carrier used to drop calls in my house so I switched.
