TechGranny passed away today.

We had an interview scheduled today via Skype. Techgranny answered a few questions and then got a tad rude. She cut the interview short, but it offered some insites into her thinking?

TechGranny had some thoughts on the Google plane fiasco yesterday and recorded them. She commented on the article however she was not very coherent. As usual though, TechGranny was somewhat humerous. For a long time her comment remained at 1, but then was modded down to a zero. At first the dear old ladies feelings were hurt, however after a while she realized that it was a good move. The Slashdot community rarely gets things wrong, and this is no execption.

TechGranny feels it is imperative that she get the word out that she is meant to be entertainment. Imagine a half senile great grandmother with Unix skills that is doing podcasts...

I think it still has the potential to be funny, and constructive. I've been on Slashdot for many years, and folks are always complaining about the lack of entertainment for us Open Sourcers. TechGranny is Creative Commons, and on a good day will be funny. On a bad day she will be incoherent.

Which leads me to state that putting a podcast together for an article that is on the front page, polishing it and then getting a reply posted with a link while the article is still fresh is some of the hardest work I have ever done.

So please remember that TechGranny is entertainment, and she loves you. She is not a troll. She is not a bot. She is not racist, and not useless. She is art.

Following her post an article appeared that had a smidgen of sexual innuendo and TechGranny was a tad worried that Timothy had a crush on her.
