There is often an issue where victims of violence will deny that anyone is hurting them as well. Look at how long it took for many of the Epstein/Maxwell victims to come forward.

There comes a point where you have to think, "does this inspire others to harm themselves or others?" If the answer is yes, then you shouldn't be sending that content out over the Internet. Snuff films, or rapes, or other criminal behaviors, it comes down to the same thing, you don't want to encourage others to repeat what they are seeing.
When it comes to spectrum, a lot of times you will hear about those bands being sold at auction, and with both T-mobile and Verizon looking to scoop up as much frequency range as they can, AT&T had to jump on it quickly or risk being outbid. There is always an issue when it comes to, "what is the perceived value".
You don't believe in making sure that sex workers are free of diseases they would pass on to anyone who uses their services? I don't think anyone believes that there isn't prostitution going on out there, so if there will be prostitutes(that includes Melania Trump) ANYWAY, then why not just make it legal and have them get tested for diseases to make sure they aren't spreading diseases?
It's like the people fighting against making pot legal. If people are going to do it ANYWAY, then it's best to just regulate it and make tax money off of it. The positive side to it being legal is that it gets rid of most of the other illegal activities that go along with it. No true need for a pimp if prostitutes aren't in the position to hide what they are doing.
When you have a job opening in a company, there are expected job duties/responsibilities that come with the job, then you look for a person to fill that position. It's pretty straight forward, and companies generally will not just hire someone and then figure out what to have them do on the job to make them be worth the pay/benefits.
So, AI, all of this hype, but very few seem to focus on, "What can the AI do? How do we make the AI actually do these things?" So, it's like that "hire someone and then figure out if they can do this or that task within the company." mindset, it's very obviously flawed. If you look for an AI solution for a given task, companies would do a lot better, and that is when AI might actually pay off, but you have to be task focused first, then "what is the best way to handle that task?"
Companies that have executives who are so focused on financials that they don't pay attention to obvious problems within the company at to blame. Short term profits at the expense of long term growth is TYPICAL these days, and is why capitalism may seem good, right up until those who run businesses stop caring about the health of the company.
What we have are bean counters who don't understand the business being allowed to be in control. We see this with the PC/console games industry as well, and the wealthy people in charge are running the businesses into the ground. Now, going into the reasons for this, when there were a LOT of movies(or games) being made, you would have your lower budget, you have your medium budget, and then the big productions. There is always some risk on something new, or different, but the smaller productions that are DIFFERENT will bring in a different audience than those for the big productions. Bringing in those who wouldn't normally play games or go to the movies makes them more interested in seeing what other movies will be coming out, so while not as profitable, they encourage future spending. Even if there is a bit of a loss, the long term health of the industry makes it so these losses can be acceptable when you consider the profits of the big productions, and it ends up being a positive thing.
This approach only works when you have many different productions going on at the same time, so there will always be enough of the big money makers and even those that are somewhat profitable to offset any losses. Long-term revenues also need to be looked at. The Rocky Horror Picture Show....think about that for a moment, how cult classics can explode in popularity after a bad initial release, but the modern era in business is always to focus on stock holders and short term profits over long term health and growth.
Every company that is run by a CEO who cares ONLY about the stock price and not about the true health of the company itself are to blame, it's a culture that is broken. Yea, bring in $100 million in the first quarter and $1 million for Q2, Q3, and Q4, compared to $50 million in Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4. All of these CEOs go for the first option, making only $103 million for the year, vs. $200 million for the year because of looking at the overall health of the business. What happened to Intel is a good example as well. Bad management at the top trickles down to long term problems as people just stop playing games or watching movies, because there is no originality and zero reason to get excited about anything new.
Research and development costs, experience, employees being paid by the company to develop expertise in a given field, these things cost a company money. If another company is paying your employees to teach them how to do things, then that's a problem. Patents are there to protect stuff, but seriously, if Intel could get TSMC employees to teach their employees how to make the fab process work, then that's seen as a scumbag tactic that may violate some laws.
How about you pay an employee of a company money to get employee pricing on products...yea, legally it's a grey area, but it is grounds for the termination of employees, because that's normally not allowed. Family members can benefit, but not friends of the employees for MOST companies.
Taskbar option is still there, but everything that would go down there now has an individual on/off toggle, because when there are a dozen of them, you probably don't want them ALL on.
Windows 11 currently has a customizable search on the taskbar, task view can be toggled on or off, widgets can be toggled on or off, then you have other system tray icons and taskbar behavior. You can also select what programs will automatically start when you load Windows in the task manager. I am thinking the option to turn it off will be in there.
If you have kept up with the news about near miss or even the different collisions at airports in the USA, many people just don't feel safe flying, no matter what the airline is. Do you drive 9-12 hours, or do you risk getting on a plane here in the USA? For me, I'd much rather drive than get on a plane these days, because it is safer.
Sure, fire a bunch of people involved in air transportation, then "hire them back". What could possibly go wrong, other than people not wanting to go back to a high stress job where they might get fired again based on the whims of Donald Trump? Maintenance of the old equipment, nope, we don't need those people, right?
So, the smaller airlines will struggle more, but the big airlines are feeling the effects from many people not wanting to fly. I'd rather drive to Canada or Mexico if I plan to fly to another country at this point, even in some tiny little airport, because I'd trust Canada or Mexico more at this point.
We really don't have anyone "extreme left" in politics here in the USA. Those like Bernie and AOC are slightly to the left of center, but Republicans have pulled things so far to the right that Bernie and AOC may SEEM like extreme left by comparison.
That is an insult to those of limited intelligence, because Trump is even less intelligent than those who are technically retarded.
Law enforcement requires that officers show ID, things like probable cause(and you can't use skin color as probable cause legally), a warrant, etc. There is the idea of reading someone their rights as well. So, if you believe in the idea of the rule of law and upholding the law, then ICE should be held to accounts. If they do not follow the rules, then they are effectively kidnapping people, and that means they SHOULD be stopped.
When you have Trump trying hard to destroy the USA(no matter what nonsense he may say to his supporters, the rest of the world see him for what he is, a wannabe dictator), it's no wonder the USA is going downhill.
All we need is for the Republican Party to lose their control of the US Congress after the mid-terms, and everything Trump is doing would stop. The US Congress is where the power to set tariffs is, not the president, so without control of the Congress, Trump will suddenly find all of his attitude won't get things done. Congress could STOP all of this right now if Johnson weren't such a pussy and would tell Trump that Congress gets to set any tariffs, and it would need to be voted on for it to happen.
Real programs don't eat cache.
