Having things intended with children in mind even talk about more mature subjects is going to be a problem. Why aren't these models limited in terms of the content, just to avoid these sorts of issues? Adults are concerned with larger and larger models for AI to handle more situations, but things for children shouldn't have the content needed to "talk" about a lot of things, and that includes opinions about political figures or types of government, or anything remotely political. Even for toys aimed at 8-year-old children, there's zero reason for these toys to talk about these subjects.

This is about tipping, not about normal payment information. The idea of having proper wages for drivers, can you really be against that? On the flip side, it's weird that tips aren't being given because people aren't being asked to give the tip until after service has been given, so I'm not sure why tips have dropped off.

The vast majority of those of us in the USA and really, in most places, are NOT the ones pushing all these AI data center expansions. Only the wealthy and those who bought stock have seen any benefit from the AI bubble, and even though my 401k also shows a gain from it, when the bubble pops, it's going to be bad for the retirement accounts for those of us in the USA.

You shouldn't confuse the Clinton-Democrats for being on the left. Those "centrists" are really a bit on the right, they embrace conservatives like Joe Manchin and then attack any progressives, who are the ones trying to move things back to the left after decades of Republicans pulling politics in the USA far to the right.

Remember, the Republican platform from the 1950s is actually quite a bit to the left of where the Democratic Party establishment is these days.

When "Free Market" also supports giving the very wealthy a lower percentage tax rate on their income compared to people who earn under $100,000 per year, shouldn't that be seen as a negative consequence for society just to benefit those wealthy people and the politicians they are buying with their unlimited "campaign contributions" that Citizens United has allowed?

Remember, the idea of rules and regulations aren't to "reorganize society", it is to prevent problems that harm people. The whole idea of the Reagan "trickle down economics", give breaks to the wealthy and it will magically work its way down to benefit society is why the government isn't running a budget surplus every year. So, do you support that trickle down theory, which was one of those big changes to society where the rich get richer and the poor and middle classes end up getting less and less for their tax dollars?

Toyota likes to skimp on a lot of features when they come out with anything new. The Prius in the first 15 years, had some things like the LCD screen that weren't terribly common, but then you look at all the features that others had which were missing. A 2022 Camry I had to rent recently might have had some newer features, but much of it seemed a lot like the old 2012 Ford Focus SEL I had bought in 2011.

You make the same mistake that the idiot CEO at Ford makes, that ADVERTISING isn't worth it. You know how you see all these Hyundai and Kia vehicles on the roads these days...that's advertising, even if per-vehicle the profits may not be great, they have a lot of vehicles on the roads, and that makes people more inclined to buy them. For all the Ford CARS that are not being sold, that's just giving that name recognition to other companies.

Ford still makes all those normal cars, they just don't sell them here in North America, so the R&D, for what it's worth, is still being spent. If Ford makes even $10 profit on a normal car, that's continual advertising for the Ford name that they won't be generating. These days, Ford vehicles are seen as yet more, "stupid slow bastards sitting in the fast lane doing 55 miles per hour in a 65 zone", and that makes people dislike the brand. Dodge is the worst for slow pickups in the fast lane, then GM/Chevy, and Ford is catching up to just being a name people link with inconsiderate drivers.

The real issue is the compromises that too many companies make. Sure, you get the power, but then you can't even go 400 miles on a full charge for example...that's a compromise, the distance on a full charge being lower. Or, less cargo room because the battery takes up too much space, or less powerful, or whatever. People just don't want compromises just to have the new stuff.
