UBI sounds wonderful and all until you realize that people WILL just sit and do drugs all day with no external force applied to them. This isn't StarTrek people. Humans will always seek the path of least resistance. And paying people to sit around and do nothing is a recipe for societal failure. It just IS. Deal with it. It already changed, about 3 months ago when reasoning models came out. I have not seen Phi4-Reasoning-Plus hallucinate yet and it is a wonderful code-reviewer. It's a 14B model too! So go grab Ollama and give it a go. Go see for yourself.

I've been leading a project to perform AI Code reviews on Pull Requests to ensure conformance to a Jira story along with a review. Models like Llama, qwq, etc tend to rubber stamp code reviews, which is not so helpful, but models like Phi4-reasoning-plus (from Microsoft) are actually pretty stellar at code reviews, finding real bugs and rarely hallucinating. My team started off just like most of the Slashdot crowd, really unhappy with AI being thrown at them... But then they saw that reviews they got were really high quality and helpful... Now everybody's on board. We need 2 ship-its to merge code for most things. AI will soon become a ship-it'able member of the team.
