You are absolutely fucking retarded. You empower Trump, btw. When people see others so fucking scared to let someone simply speak; they listen even more closely to what that person is saying. You are so damn afraid he may have point. Just like the extreme right you rail against - - you live in a state of fear. That's why you're so manipulated & ignorant of it.

I cannot speak for previous posts. I've four children ages 4 to 27. I know exactly what the younger ones watch on YouTube and I manage their time spent on it. Did the same for the older two. It is NOT hypothetical & it's not even that difficult... if you're not a moron and give a shit about your kids. YT premie is off the table. I see little to no added value and that was before the price bump.

Years ago I worked at one of their warehouses (needed some xmas money and was between jobs). OMG the worst stories you read are generous. I'd sooner turn to crime than work there again. You abuse that many for that long .... That other shoe will drop. Hard. All at once. It's gonna be kinda funny watching the surprised "experts" try to explain what happened. Critical mass ain't too far off.

Comment Re: An Engineer can be sued. (Score 0) 258

Open Source solves this. Legally. If you have the source code; anything you claim to be an error/bug which caused damage or had an unintended outcome (and sued), it would be claimed in return that the "problem" was documented in the published code. Not the "software engineer's" fault it wasn't read or understood. Technically ALL bugs are documented if you've source code access. See what happens when hairs are split and todays world is hell bent on semantics, word play, and redefining definitions? Everything becomes meaningless.

Comment Re: Get ready (Score 1) 201

No. I'm old too. The "save the planet" narrative was trollied about everywhere, convincing the masses to help save trees. It's a fact. Many in the late 70s thru 80s bitched and raised hell about paper & glass products being replaced with plastic. "But the PLANET!!!!". Of course we were also racists because we bitched about the flood of "cheap Japanese junk" flooding our markets. It's all happened before, it'll all happen again. You're experiences and your life aren't original. You fail to learn from our past. Nothing new under the sun. You'll likely die in willful ignorance and be reincarnated even angrier and more miserable your next go around.

Comment Since Slackware '96 (Score 0) 103

It's better. Since 2010 or so it's worse. KDE and Gnome suck, both for different reasons. I'm waitng on Afterstep to get a Wayland update at this point. Seriously. The whole Finder/Explorer paradigm needs to go (and Gnomes ios gui ain't it). Some of the old Step/box paradigms needs to be (updated) continued on recent hardware.
