One obvious problem with money is is money-printing, which causes the Cantillon effect. Although people can still make money by producing valuable products or services, now they can make a lot more of it just by having the right friends or following the right herds. Money-printing is the root of a lot of wasteful behavior including "bullshit jobs" and "enshittification."
