Kym is a research specialist at the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (NWREL.org, NETC.org), in Portland, Oregon. He's currently working on a Web resource on open source software, for K12 education. He has a BA in Chemistry from Reed College, and a MA in Teaching from Concordia University (Portland). Before working at NWREL, Kym taught high school for three years. In his free time, he reads, and plays games: PC, GameCube, roleplaying.
