The parent poster asks the most important question of all: How will the student's intellectual property rights be protected, or will they be protected at all? If the AI gets me off the "blank page", does it get a piece? Does this "school" for having provided it? Do the councillors for their suggestions?

There's no sentience here. It's little more than an LLM wrapped in one company's custom harness, and a big fat prompt.
