If the FBI cant even protect its own people as a top tier federal law enforcement agency, how are they going to protect anyone else. No wonder their advice to victims of ransomware is just to pay up.

Idiocracy is no longer a satire. If you cant use google to navigate to basic websites, you best wait till mommy or daddy comes home.

Of course they can call the police but the fact they established any reasonable suspicion to investigate further investigation is the worrisome part. For any non violent offense, it is about impossible to get them to show up in any reasonable amount of time but i guess the flock people are a priority. Good to know.

Calm down satan. I have a right to my opinion and you to yours.

This would have been great for the guys starting out when Uber and Lyft were dropping their percentages and basically forcing full time drivers to sleep in their cars with little left after taxes, insurance, gas, and maintainence. When these companies got behind automated technology like Waymo, it was just a matter of time.

Bull and shit. These devices are built around the concept of marketing and what better way than to listen, record, and categorize what people are saying about themselves and watching. These devices work in conjuction with every other "smart" device out there managing your life so you dont have to while steering you into a false of security. limiting your choices through the illusion of convenience, and sacrificing privacy. If you look at what your mobile phone does already, this is the next logical step right along with smart fridges, thermostats, vacuum cleaners, and camera systems that cover you from your home to anywhere you might be going.

We're going to make consumers feel "better" by rating their carriers who cannot or will not do anything about this invasion into your lives, syealing billions, and getting away with it. Thanks FCC...no really because crime does pay as long as you dont use a gun.

Its the fans who are going to lose.

Probably just a routine emergency ~Dr Beeper

Pretty sure this is how the USSR gulags were filled. Question and imprison anyone meeting the description of a suspect that day. Its bad enough with false positives coming from location readers, mapping services, social media, and uncorrected data that forces people to try and prove their innocence which basically falls on deaf ears. Fuck flock and their bullshit apologies for how they didnt know the tech would be misused by cops with unrestricted access.

The mere refusal of a request is the suspicion used to justify the search which is circular and bullshit. Reasonable suspicion and probable cause are already thin standards that even if an officer is shown to be lying are still supported. Even if the guy is guilty of something, the way they went about this is wrong wrong wrong. More and more, LE seems to be looking to take the easy route by seizing the evidence first then justifying the arrest. Also interesting is how many "terror" suspects are accused of having illegal porn on their devices as if its plated there for good measure.

Based on employee treatment and shitty delivery service, now folks have a better reason to shop elsewhere. There wont be a back up plan for unreceived/misdelivered packages. How does a drone account for high wind, parcel boxes, enclosed porches, or other obstacles? They cant and all that money they think theyre saving will go to replacement products, lost drones, and lawsuits from anyone being recorded, injured, or causing property damage in one form or another.

As a plot device for the movie Time Bandits. If you hear any rumblings in your closet or walls pushed out, the supreme being will be through shortly to tidy up.

Cant wait to never ride in one

...but im going to go ahead and be more worried about one of the US governments 17 intelligence agencies sucking up all my data and storing it in a Utah data center until they feel like prosecuting me for something while lying to anyone with a concern about their intent. Thomas Drake, Mark Klein, and Edward Snowden amongst many others deserve medals.
