And it's going to be clamshelled somewhere that'll break the entire TV if you so much as think of going near it. And if you DO manage to disconnect it without breaking the TV the TV will just not receive a confirmation packet when turning on and default to a "Something is very seriously wrong! Take your TV to a repair shop IMMEDIATELY!" screen with no access to being used as, y'know, a TV.

Well-stated. I can't fathom why this is modded down to zero. Wish I had points to spend.

I have to assume the majority of people have no idea what "neoliberalism" means. Seeing "liberal" in it pisses off progressives because they think you're blaming them for Reagan and his policies, and it pisses off conservatives because they think you're stealing credit for their golden-age accomplishments.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, and a king by any other name would act the same.

He 'crowned' himself when he posted an AI image of himself wearing a goddamned crown. His followers practically worship him as they would God or Jesus. He doesn't need to call himself Majesty because everyone is already required to address him by a title; it's just President instead of King or Emperor or Great Dear Supreme Leader.

I have experienced trying to order from a fast food joint in a country where I didn't speak the language very well. The employees are so ingrained in what to say and not say that if you ask them to rephrase because you don't understand what they're saying they completely lock up. They literally can't think of a different way to ask if that will be all today. I guess that's what the powers that be truly want - a working class entirely incapable of independent thought.
