Those 2 companies already know how old you are (and who your entire family is, your credit card limit, how much distance you travel daily, where you go etc) so how is it someone else's fault that this is happening? They simply register a token on your device for "Over 18" that gets interrogated by a new app before installation. Done.

Comment doing my part to poison AI (Score 2) 103

As this study shows, it only takes a few people doing this to introduce the poison.
Some of the small forums I frequent are being swamped by AI harvesting. I'll be linking this article and suggest having "Poison Pages" for AI to hoover up - the more sites that do this the quicker the bubble bursts.
