Comment Git for Papers (Score 0) 60

May be we need something like Git, but for papers, were you publish, add reviewers, mark errors, correct, then is published but not verified, add verifiers, and once verified, mark it as usable.

Might need a way to check if the verifier is trustworthy, like "respect" mark, given only by proven centers (universities/known scholars may be?), similar on how we verify a SSL cert (you need a trust chain back to the root)

If some preceding work became unverified (cause some controversy, proven cheat, etc etc), all of the works on the chain after it became "unproven" and need to be verified again by a trust worthy verifier.

Correct me if i'm wrong..but the telomeres are more like a counter, every cell loss a few after every replication, and, after 50 or so divisions, the cell undergo apoptosis.

Seems is more like that after those number of divisions, the number of dna copy errors accumulated put the cell on the brink of failing, and the final miss of the telomere, mark that point in time.

To be able to live more, you need to have (along with other things) a way to keep the dna in a good shape for a big number of divisions (something like an highly tolerant data correction system, may be similar to a RAID disk, with lots of redundancy, or a highly invariant golden image).

Is a merge between a airplane and a zeppelin.

If it stop working, just fall (not too fast) to the ground , but dont catastrophically crash.

It dont go fast and can get moderately big payloads.

And if it have some sort of vectorial thrust, probably it can do vertical lift-of

if the implants get rejected...well...i have a question: there is no way to enginner some kind of implant cover (like a skin) made of the same cells as the patient, but with some kind of layer (may be fat), so the body dont feel like it like a stranger.

Or may be, the sensor can be made of some kind of artificially made neuron made from a cultive of the patient.

Or have a network of progressively more hardware, less wetware, so, near the sensors, is pure wetware, and near the computer interface is pure hardware.

Ahh the coffee is making me thinking weird things...

If this arrangement enables the two sets of particles to see the state of the other ones with no interference of the frame or reference...
what will happen if i drop a pair of those ones in a black hole?
the remaining pair...what will measure? a ever increase rate of information? or what?
