Submission + - SGI to discontinue IRIX and MIPS products
Seth Morabito writes: "Silicon Graphics has announced that they will stop producing IRIX and MIPS based workstations as of December 29, 2006. This is the end of an era, as another major UNIX vendor goes the way of the Dodo. But I'll always have fond memories of the Indigo Magic Desktop!"
