Did Howard Huges tap cables? I knew he was involved in the Glomar Explorers attempt to recovery the Soviet Golf Class Submarine (Project Azorian) https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2F... The Americans did tap Soviet undersea cables though, but they used submarines (Operation Ivy Bells https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2F... Funny story. The Soviets found one of the underseas taps. They had no doubt as to who did it as it was prominently labelled "Property Of US Government"

Comment Re:I use Firefox (Score 1) 254

Chrome has its own printing problems. I've recently rolled out a new printer fleet in the office. Most of the programs have worked fine, Chrome is the only one with problems. Whenever users try and print, Chrome tries to find the old printer (that has been removed from the print servers printer list) and takes ages to try and generate a preview for a printer that is no longer available before eventually failing. 95% of the time, I have to disable Chrome print preview to get Chrome to use Windows print preview. The other 5% of the time I have to totally wipe the Chrome profile under the users AppData/Roaming profile. As soon as I do that, it can see the new printer list (that Windows can already see no problems). Firefox worked fine with the printer change. Chrome sucks. Oh, and fuck Chromes fucked PDF printing capabilities. Chokes on PDF's printed in Chrome, download the same PDF and open it in Adobe and it prints fine.
