Chinese don't want those jobs either. They need those jobs to survive. The way the world unfolds, what Americans "want" will no longer be relevant in the long term. They will have no choice but to take those jobs. US government can slow down this process but they cannot stop it - Trump or no Trump.

This is simplistic way to look at the problem. US intelligence operations have been plagued by bureaucracy. The field officers are primary evaluated on their primary task of developing the assets and gathering intelligence. Counterintelligence work is often overlook. What is more alarming is not the number of informants captured or killed but the number of informants turned double-agents. CIA, like the rest of US government, is growing more and more bureaucratic and therefore more rigid and not being able to adapt to the new realities.

Ionization is always present around high- voltage lines. Interactions between ionized air and power lines can cause vibrations (humming) or UV spectrum emissions (glow). This changes conductive properties of power lines and causes minor power fluctuations and oscillations in the grid. In extreme cases these oscillations resonate with transformers causing voltage drops or overloads. These are almost impossible to predict though and extremely unlikely.

Well, news at 11 - people usually grow when dealing with adversity.

Nah, majority of first world people take prozac when dealing with adversity. People only grow when they deal with the problems instead of avoiding them or blaming them on something else like "unfair system". US schools do not promote that approach.

This is a cop-out. Every generation struggled with something: pandemics, great depressions, world wars, soviets, nukes, etc. There are more pressing problems than the climate change that today's kids will face in their future. Parents should teach the kids to deal with the problems, not to solve it for them.
