Tomorrow (Friday Fed 18,2004) I will be obtaining my second citizenship when I receive my Dutch passport (I am Canaidan as well). I have always wondered if it would be bad to carry (or show) both passports to a customs agent (of any country, not just Canada and the Netherlands). Is holding 2 or more passports a red flag at the airport (that you might be a terrorist)? Should a dual citizen complete the WHOLE trip on the same passport (which would be silly between my two home countries)? Are there any other issues a dual-citizen might want to be aware of?
