Journal Journal: Changin' ways of Slashdot 2

Anyone care to comment on why people post "Slashdot has gone down hill" comments so often? I don't miss much about the "old" slashdot - the trolls, page-wideners, links that misled... OK, once /. felt more like an exclusive club than it does now, but that feeling didn't last long.

Does anybody really miss the old days enough to remind me what I'm missing? I did take a pretty long hiatus...

Time and a couple of kids do mellow one. So now, I am a old-style realist, softer around the edges (thus the ID). No foes yet (had many on the old account), far fewer friends as well. Life lends perspective...
