Fully agree on that. But if I'm in a situation needing a 3rd party providing my ride, for straight up safety, on the roads in the PHX area I've traveled, I'd go waymo
every time not considering other variables. Your statements on the corporation are something else, and true, and you cant just leave your phone at home as it's
needed to unlock the car.

I was a member of the Early Rider program in PHX in 2018, and still a rider if the cost/time makes sense compared to other rideshares. I'd say, without breaking an NDA (hopefully), that I have full confidence that Waymo will not rollout to the public in areas affected by potholes, or in bad weather, till fully tested. I've felt safe on all of my rides, and nowadays feel safer and more proactive driving than anyone I know and most other ride share drivers

I once was able to recover all the data off an 8GB or so HD after placing it in a bag and the freezer overnight. Did'nt think it would work, but it was click of death and not a deathstar. Lots of condensation on it while i pulled data off, but worked out ok, and the customer bought me a steak dinner :)

I have tried it on a few more with no success. I have also tried replacing the pcb with the same model, but the rev was different and didnt work out either. This was all years ago, and doubt you'd have much success with any modern HD.
