OK, apparently I'll have to explain this to you ...

Your post posited that we don't see a bunch of stories like this because of ad revenue. Besides being incredibly stupid (there's plenty of places to publish and get ad revenue for stories like these), it is IRRELEVANT.

My point was that charges like these are not driven by ad revenue. If there were really a bunch of charges being filed, we would see announcements in other channels. But we don't.

And I'm still laughing at how you don't see that "This is a thread about exactly that, dumbass." would be an appropriate reply to your original post. The summary above links to three different news sources.

No I am not. Please don't pretend to speak for me.

The Flock cameras come with proof that having a lot of cameras changes things:

It's not unlike the uproar over Flock cameras. Yes, you could record license plates before, but when they become ubiquitous, it's a qualitatively different thing.

The reason prices haven't reached the same peak under Trump is because of worldwide adoption of renewals. There's a link describing this above.

And if Biden's policies had such large effect, why can't you find a single citation to support your point? Are you really that bad at searching the internet?

Still laughing at this. When did Putin invade Ukraine?

One of the things I learned studying economics is that large markets are really only affected by large events. So something that impacts a fifth of the world energy market, like a large energy supplier launching an invasion or an idiot starting a poorly-planned war next to a delivery chokepoint is going have a significant effect.

But a policy that only affects a tiny fraction of a fraction of the world energy supply is not going to have the same effect. And this policy's effect is so small you cannot find a single specific reference that even describes it (still laughing at that too).

To reiterate:
