So I woke up this morning to find that I had 17 messages on /. ...... total. When did message storage get cut back from 30 to 15 days?

All of a sudden, the messages just vanished. No notice or anything. I'd rather that they just enforced a lower numeric limit (like 30 instead of 50-odd), and checked all of the messages once a day (so that prolific JE-writers would not fill up your box before you could get to it).
