Shortsighted "here"? Just wait until China doesn't actually pay those extra Trump tariffs on things made in China, like (some) Apple products
(Fact: Importers pay tariffs, not exporters, and they usually pass those expenses onto consumers.)
Yes, the theory being that by making the import more expensive, you'll be incentivized to purchase domestically produced equivalent instead. It may or may not be effective, but no one is claiming that the exporter pays the tariff.
And everyone gets excited about something we have plenty of here.
There are plenty of diamonds here too. They're just being hoarded by DeBeers to keep the price artificially high.
My oldest child is well on his way with >500. All YouTube videos he's going to watch later.
I extracted them all one time and found like 30 of the videos didn't actually exist anymore.
There's a button to add videos to the Watch Later playlist.
Predatory, but with taxes this is something everyone has to do, and taxes are way too complicated for many people to do correctly on their own.
For anyone that qualifies for the free tier of TurboTax, the tax forms are NOT complicated. We all survived tax preparation long before TurboTax existed.
Didn't see this mentioned in the summary, when support for this launches does this mean Android will also warn you if an AirTag is tracking you? Which would mean it helps with the recognition network being larger for both tracking devices.
Or has Android already supported detecting AirTags tracking?
On my S23, it's under settings > safety and emergency > unknown tracker alerts.
Given the moral and ethical standards of entertainment industry executives, the inevitable outcome of such a law would be the early "accidental" death of a lot of successful actors.
Yeah, I've seen that movie,.
My guess is they are profiting from this somehow. Perhaps by having their own "resellers" who can get tickets in advance of even scalpers, then "resell" them at market price on the secondary market.
Well, yeah. Ticketmaster will sell you a ticket and collect their massive fee from that sale. Then they'll let your resell your ticket through Ticketmaster and they'll collect another fee. There's no way they want this to stop.
Sites really don't do the syndication thing anymore, last I checked I REALLY had to dig hard.
I subscribe to dozens of RSS feeds. Even this site has a feed. You must not know where to look.
The problem we keep running into is people anthropomorphize AI and entrepreneurs consistently assign human level responsibility to expert systems
Yeah, don't anthropomorphize the AI. They hate it when you do that.
Must be. Yet again, Apple patents and brings something to market, and yet again, Android is ripping it off a-la Microsoft Windows / Mac OS decades prior.
Bullshit. Apple and Microsoft both ripped off Xerox.
The truth of a proposition has nothing to do with its credibility. And vice versa.
