There's something along those lines called a gamma knife:

Gamma Knife radiosurgery uses specialized equipment to focus about 200 tiny beams of radiation on a tumor or other target with submillimeter accuracy. Although each beam has very little effect on the brain tissue it passes through, a strong dose of radiation is delivered to the place where all the beams meet.

Those who know, know that the reason no one will attack America and win is the boomers, but they're just not the sexy status symbols that the jets are, and you can't fly them over a football game.

OK, but what about when they finish retiring? You'll be happy to have some fighter jets when all that's defending your borders are some apathetic Gen Xer's and hipster millennials.

I do! I feel as if I'm living in the future, with opportunities and possibilities previous generations could only dream of.

You shouldn't.

Don't take this away from me, it's all I have. That calculator couldn't go to the moon either, it had to hitch a ride on a rocket.

I mean, that's what I do when I have mod points. I carefully analyze the thread, determine how best to drive engagement, then strategically apply said mod points to achieve the desired effect in the target audience.

But when I don't have mod points I don't even read TFA, and sometimes not even TFH. I post trivial, some might even say stupid, replies in the hopes that some stranger might mod them funny and validate my mediocre existence.

I imagine the editors as a larger version of myself, but with the ability to add dupes tacked on.

And a hammer in the hands of a violent psychopath hell-bent on harming others, is just as deadly as any gun.

Yes, guns and hammers are both tools. One is a tool for killing people, and one is a tool for hammering nails. You can use a hammer to kill someone, but then you can use almost anything to kill someone, if you do it with enough enthusiasm. That doesn't mean a hammer is just as deadly as a gun. When a tool is particularly useful for killing people, we call it deadly, or a weapon.

It's not merely a tool for the job, but it's a life saving tool,

There seems to be some tangled thinking going on here. If you have two military groups fighting with weapons, the purpose of the weapon is to hurt or kill your enemies before they kill you and your friends. If you win by 'saving' your friend's lives, then you've stopped people on the other side from 'saving' their friends.

I hope this clears things up. You have been reading "Killing 101" with prof. Myrdos.

Windows 10. Microsoft said it would last forever, that it would always be there for me. We had plans together, a never-ending summer of updates, and endless backwards compatibility laid out for us. All lies. Empty, meaningless words that cannot fill the void in my hard drive. All along, you were secretly carrying the End Of Life for these golden, carefree days. When will the first software come out that says "Windows 11 required?". When will I have to update my hardware to enjoy the latest version of Windows? WHEN!?

My Windows 10 Compatible stickers have become as meaningless as my Messenger username. Worthless bits of data waiting for a day that will never come.
