Journal MousePotato's Journal: 28 Days Later 6

Wow, I don't want to ruin it for you guys and gals who may be reading this journal so I won't go into details. If you have a chance, go see this movie on a big screen; the post apocolyptic images in this movie are haunting, the suspense was great and the story compelling.

I am really impressed with this film and am considering seeing it again tonight. I give it a two thumbs up as I had no idea what to expect of this film when I bought the tickets and was totally surprised. Enjoy!

  • I wanted to go see this movie, but the TV trailer I saw made it look real cheesy.

I'll give it a chance and hopefully see it soon.

    • I didn't see the trailer until a few minutes ago. It does look kind of cheesy but it is a very well done film. Very intense at times. I was pleasantly surprised because the mrs and I were just strolling by the theater yesterday afternoon and decided to see it on a whim.
  • I have been debating here and there going to see this movie, because the ad seemed pretty intriguing, I think I'll go catch it this week.
  • That one looked like a toss up from the trailers. I spend a fair bit of time on the road, so it can be the perfect opportunity to catch the kind of flicks my bride would rather not see.
    • When I saw th trailers for 'Signs' I was thinking cool a freaky UFO pic. I really like those so I went and then discovered that the ETs were just a small device in a picture about a family and its inner struggles. The trailers for 28 days make it look like its a zombie flick, which, in some ways it is, just like signs was a UFO/ET flick, but, the core of the film is about people struggling in a post apocolyptic world. I don't want to say much more than that because I may give away too much and I hate those
