"Fun fact: A quarter of a century ago, CmdrTaco reviewed a new movie called Mission: Impossible 2, calling it "a fun movie," but "no Gladiator" and sort of a "James Bond for Dummies" movie." Well, we all know here that CmdrTaco is an idiot - was back then, still is today, like most of us morons here still using /.

And how can you prove that they "are looking for the human element"? I've heard some AI songs that were decent enough to listen to...heck, i liked em even more than some of the mainstream drivel "music" that some artists put out nowadays. So please, quit trying to press your feelings on to someone elses opinion.

People will come in and fill those jobs...all the while fewer and fewer fully remote opportunities are available. If it's a toxic environment (bad managers, bad co-workers, etc, then sure, leave after finding something else. But if everything is OK, and they want you to come into the office 2 days a week instead of fully remote, and you throw a fit, well, you have a choice if you like the job otherwise. Leave and hope to find a replacement, fully-remote job, which again, there are fewer and fewer of, negotiate and see if you can narrow it to say 1 day a week (or whatever), or work int he office 2 days a week. As a business owner, I like seeing my people face to face (not video face to video face), so have requirements for people to be there, in person, based on my, and the company's needs. Again, if they don't like that aspect, they have choices.

...Apple and all other big tech companies just pull out of the EU. Why? Because you know that Apple opening this up will result in some nimrod installing some app from some 3rd party app store, infecting their phone, losing everything they have in the bank somehow because of it, and them, and the EU, suing Apple for it.
