When ever I get a traffic captcha, I always include at least one wrong square. And I'll do this several times until I get through, even if it's making me wait a bit longer to get into the site. If they want to farm work out of me like this to train their AI, they are going get poisoned data in return.

AI evangelist s, politicians, all of the others who are part of this increasingly garish and nightmarish shitshow. Maybe they all need to be thrown into straitjackets and locked away forever out of sight, for the good of the many.

Sorry, that was a really bad one. The thing that always worries about this whole data collection economy is that it runs on the *assumption that the government is rock solid, that there wouldn't be any regime change where the new regime would use all of this data to arrest people, or carry out state sponsored murder on them.

*likely they knew damn well that this was possible, but they just didn't care and this was compounded with "that possibility is so remote" thinking

Imagine looking at a still picture that from your perspective does not seem to change at all. Except over a very long time you start to notice that things seem to look a bit different and the picture seems to have gotten a bit bigger than it was a long time ago, or maybe it's just your imagination. And this is assuming the photon can see distant things in realtime without delay. I imagine this would be pure hell for this hypothetical sentient photon, like being locked into solitary confinement and having nothing but a piece of art on the wall that you can't tell if it's actually animating or if you are simply going mad.

  The husband is an extremely publicly homophobic "for the family" preacher with a blindingly bright halo over his head. At least that's what we see. Unless we have a little looksie through his computer, or stumble across the bathroom in the public park around 12:00am or so. And this is just the sanitized version. What goes on is likely much, much worse.

Process the payment for something as long as that something is legal, and there is no fraud or any such activity going on. They are not meant to be the appointed moral guardians for a bunch of Jesus freaks, speaking of which I have a lot of rotten things to say about those folks, starting with their hypocrisy.

That wouldn't make any sense because that would mean that you couldn't use standard bitmap images as a wallpaper without "converting" them first to include this special embedded code. And there would be no benefit whatsoever in having it set up this way, except to malware writers. Clearly, they meant that the "message" was created and sent after the wallpaper loading routine had finished doing it's work and exited.

Somehow I doubt the people running social media is losing sleep over all of this. They bound and gagged their annoying Jiminy Cricket, put him in an iron mask, and locked him in the deepest level of the dungeon, and had the cell door welded shut . This is SOP in America. Trample on as many people as you can, kick them off the ladder as you go up, and pull that ladder up behind you. And you will be rich and very well respected, and you will have an almost endless horde of people who will bow and respect you, and do everything you command them too. Including escape the consequences of felony charges and not allow those charges to get in the way of your glory. That's how it is in the US of A. Also, Jesus loves you.
