The way the law is written, if a doctor performs any abortion they can be charged. That is what the hospitals legal department said. In 2024, a woman was told it would be a crime to perform her abortion, so she was left to die.

In 2023 another woman died because the procedure that could have saved her life after a miscarriage was not administered because it could also be used for an abortion.

Just this year, a woman who had previously had two stillbirths due to preeclampsia asked if she should continue with her pregnancy as she was experiencing the same preeclampsia as before. Nope, she was good to go. Until she was found dead in her bedroom from preeclampsia.

Look at Pennsylvania. Over 900 measles cases so far this year, with 4 dead in the past month. One was 18-years old, the other 40-years old. The other two were children below the age of 5. And this doesn't take into consideration any other damage people suffer from measles such as deafness.

I always like it when Republicans claim to be "pro-life" yet go out of their way to kill women and children. In Texas, since their abortion ban, the rate of maternal deaths has increased and several women have died because hospitals refused to perform a medical abortion because the doctor and hospital might get sued.

Having to create a policy is not the same as a simple checkbox to disable something.

One would think if customers keep complaining about something that a company would look into changing it. Such as people who complained at having to use a screen in their car to change a/c or temperature or something simple. Car manufacturers went back and put buttons and knobs in to make things easier.
