OTOH, my life is effected exactly none by them dropping Youtube
technically, not enough fat. It has nothing to do with carbs
Gotta be. No American has ever said "There's no substitute for cubic inches."
There's a lot of "they're just trying to backdoor you" type talk. For those who didn't bother to look at the code repos -> it's almost entirely Puppet manifests, not code.
I'm hoping someone with some econ knowledge can enlighten me, although I fear since this is the Internet and Slashdot comments it's probably not going to happen
So why do we bother at all? Personally, I'd rather pay higher property/income taxes and abandon corporate taxes so that money comes back into the country for reinvestment and so that the companies don't leave the country and expand their business elsewhere.
I 100% agree with him. I can't type
In the end my iPad 2 has become the samething my X-Box has become, a bad, over-priced Netflix player.
but my calendar doesn't say the April 1 yet, what gives?
In all seriousness, you've been working on e17 since you were what? 25? How did you go from "I want to make a window manager" to "Everyone is doing this horribly wrong and I'm tired of being everyone" at that age?
Worth noting - when you supply a phone number (btw, my Google Voice number didn't work at all for this.. had to use my actual mobile #).. they immediately publish it on your profile.

busy filling out the paperwork to get your (already built) pool approved by the city council?
You should believe it.. It's the main reason family sizes have shrunk in modern civilization - the need to have many children to do these activities has diminished, thus the need to have many children has diminished.
It might seem bad, or not politically correct, to think this way but if you look at family sizes over the last 1000 years in first world nations you will see the trend.
It's not about Google teaming up with Facebook. It's about Google trying to replcae Facebook and all your base belong to them.
Serious question - does it do phone calls? I saw microphone and speaker listed as features, but I saw nothing about voice calls.
That they are essentially mechanics? They're just not auto mechanics, they're more or less computer or software mechanics?
That shouldn't be a surprise to any. Especially as we see more about self-fixing computers, the furthering of object oriented programming which is leading to simpler and simpler APIs so you don't even have to be a programmer to make things happen. Or technologies like Sharepoint where you don't even have to have a GED to prop up multiple sites / data sources, etc.
