I use an ordinary Lunix box at work to manage all infrastructure. SSH for the open source and Apple stuff, and rdesktop to access windows workstations. Actually it doesnt matter what OS you are using unless some special windows software is necessary. Most stuff can be managed via webinterface anyways. Cracked the terminal server on all client machines to be able to log in remotely without kicking logged in users off. RDP limit of one user on windows "professional" machines is just another reason to hate microsoft and their shitstain of an OS.

I am living in Europe. Just yesterday I quit a decently paying job because the commute took me one hour and fifteen minutes (one way). This is unbearable in the long term. It"s inconceivable to me how anyone can put up with so much time of their life wasted just to get to work and back again. I'd rather be poor than a corporate slave like this.
