Is it just me or is the political crap getting to anyone else? I'm tired of the childish "He said I was fat" "She said I spend too much money" "He said I kill babies in bathtubs" (sorry, was listening to Bob & Tom this morning)... I'm just sick and tired of this crap.
I will be glad when SOMEONE is elected, so this will be over, and we can get back to commercials of animated evil chinchillas and pop stars drinking soda.

Yeah, that's the only thing I'm afraid of, that this will go on and on and on and on....
And will happen again in 4 years.
I do have a 'favorite' candidate, but I'm not threatening to leave the US (ahem, asshats who did this last time) if he doesn't win.

Sadly, the only way I know how we can fix it is to get someone not affiliated with the two major parties into office who has more of what our early forefathers had.
Unfortunately, I don't see that happening any time soon because the majority of the populace doesn't care enough to investigate ALL the candidates on their own; they just rely on what the TV "news" spoonfeeds them.

I couldn't have said it better. Had I said "That's it, fsck this, I'm not voting", yes, the hatred could have been warrented.
I've done my research. I've seen the sample ballot for my district. I've read the arguments for both sides of Amendment 34, 35, and 36, the measures that are on the ballot (mill levy's, a sales tax increase, etc.), and examined the candidates.
I have done my due diligence.
