I gave my notice for the contracting company. I'm going back into NMS with a passion that can't be denied.

Just 2 more weeks of waking up when other people are coming home from work.

Just 2 more weeks until I can take the dog to the dog park after work, or go to the normal park with her on her leash (we're right near Chatfield, and they have a great dog park, I've been told.

Just. 2. more. weeks.

  I get to get out in the sunlight and take photographs in my downtime. Probably of bunnies for a while, since the place we're living is overrun with the adorable grey furry things.

        I have my BlackBerry camera for point and shoot pics. For more composed one I have an older Olympus C-5050 which was kick-ass back in the day. It's a hybrid between a DSLR and a point and shoot. It doesn't have interchangeable lenses or the SLR setup, but it does allow you to tweak the WB and allows for saving in RA

        I've got a Nikon D80, and a panasonic dmc-zr1. the panasonic takes decent *enough* photos, (MUCH BETTER than the camera on my phone) and is 12mpx, which if nothing else, lets me crop the hell out of a photo :)
        We're glad to have the point n shoot. It does video, which we've been using for things like product shots on our website, and for a demo of the cnc router benny built. I got it for ... some holiday or other from Costco.

        A decent point-and-shoot and a nice DSLR are, I think, the best combo. Some shots are so quick that having the point and shoot makes all the difference. Plus being lighter and easier to carry around. I have a little Sony Point-and-shoot that works nicely for that. But there is something very cool about the deliberate phot
