Don't forget non-proprietary, upgradeable hard drive.
It uses a standard 2.5" SATA hard drive.
And the tools to backup, format the new drive, then restore your data are all built-in.
It isn't easy being the parent of a six-year-old. However, it's a pretty small price to pay for having somebody around the house who understands computers.
