Submission + - Microsoft bids $44.6 billion for Yahoo (news.com) 1
KFW writes: C-Net is reporting that Microsoft is offering $31 a share (a 62% premium over Thursday's closing price) for Yahoo. In a letter to the board there is mention of earlier offers that had been rebuffed. This would be Microsoft's largest acquisition if the deal closes. I wonder what the DOJ will say?
